Business Times 2013

Mick and Tricia Harding are this year celebrating the 25th anniversary of M A Harding – the commercial coach painting and vehicle repairs business they established in Rushden in 1988.

Over the years, the company has built an excellent reputation and works regularly for Volvo, MAN, Scania and Mercedes-Benz among others.

One of the reasons for the company’s ongoing success is the dedication of the workforce. Two of the three full-time members of the team have both been with the company for 16 years, and two trainees are now onboard to ensure the high quality workmanship will continue to be produced in the future.

”The main focus of our work is the respraying of new and used commercial vehicles from small vans up to 37-tonne artics as well as painting mobile catering units” said Mick Harding. ”We also undertake small bodywork repairs so that in many cases we are able to provide one-stop service for our customers”

”Like everyone else we have found it tough going in recent years, but we have weathered the storm and here we are celebrating 25 years in business. In some respects it seems like only yesterday that we started the business, but we are proud of what we have achieved and of the quality of work we produce”

”The quality of our workmanship has enabled us to secure contracts with some of the leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles who demand exacting standards so we are flattered that they entrust this work to our company”

M A Harding is open five and a half days a week from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am – 12 noon on Saturday.

M A Harding is based at Unit 23, Norris Way, Rushden and can be contacted on 01933 410402
